Easel Card

This is my first attempt at an Easel card, I've been meaning to give it a try but never quite got round to it.
The current challenge at The Stampman is an Easel card - anything goes, so I though i would pop on over and enter this card.

Also at cd sunday  this week, the challenge is 'wedding anniversary' - I've used an image and coordinating backing papers from the Romance Popcorn Platinum CD.

More Butterfly Jewels

Here are 2 more cards made with the Hunkydory kit 'butterfly jewels', this time using the brown and cream colour tones.

Best Wishes

The challenge this week at Pear tree designs is to use the sentiment 'Best Wishes'.
I've stamped and embossed this Giraffe image and colored it in with watercolor pencils. The background has been created using cosmic shimmer mist and edged with distress ink.

Butterfly Jewels

Been having a play today with a kit I got a while ago from Hunkydory called Butterfly Jewels.
Here's a card I've made - just added cardstock, matted the topper onto some paper spritzed with cosmic shimmer mists and edged with distress ink, and added glitter to the butterflys.

This card I'm entering into My Time to Craft Challenge which the theme for this week is Glitter and Glitz

Sweet Pea

Today's card uses decoupage and coordinating backing papers from the Flower Fairies CD - Sweet Pea.
I'm entering this card into this weeks challenge at cupcake craft challenge, the theme is  2's (2 papers, 2 ribbons, 2 flowers)

Popcorn the Bear

This card uses a popcorn the bear stamp from Crafter's Companion. I've used backing papers from the Popcorn floral CD and added a strip of backing paper, buttons and ribbon from my stash. Popcorn has been colored in with ProMarker's - Ivory, Satin and Cinnamon for Popcorn and Cornflower, Mustard and Pear Green for the flower.

New Cards

Here are my latest cards.

The first one uses an image from a Joanna sheen cd - Giordano Puppies and Kittens, along with backing paper from the cd and 'My Minds Eye'.
I thought I would also use this card for the Sunday CD challenge, the theme this week is buttons and bows.

 

My second card for today uses an image from another of Joanna Sheen cd's - Jane Netley Mayhew part 2 and backing papers from a 'My Minds Eye' paper pack.

Flippin Men Card

 

I've made this card using a Flippin men stamp colored in with Promarkers. The sketch is from Sunday sketch and stamp challenge. I'm also using it to enter this weeks challenges at:
I love Promarkers, which is to use acetate on your card,
Pear Tree designs weekly challenge is the theme 'male' .

For the I love Promarkers challenge I stamped the image again on acetate to use it as an overlay and it gives the image a glossy finish.

Souffle

Here's a cute card I've made today using the Crafters Companion Souffle CD-Rom. The image is from the invertage section and the backing papers are also from the CD.
I've made it with the Crafters Companion monthly challenge in mind.

Another card for today...

Made a start on the Christmas cards...only crafters must think about Christmas this early!
This is using a cute polar bear stamp from Creative Expressions and backing papers from Docraft.
One down...too many more to go!

House Mouse

Couldn't resist the House Mouse stamps released by Joanna Sheen last month.
Here is a card made from the 'poppy' birthday stamp plate and colored in with ProMarkers.

Flippin Men Card

Here's my latest card, which I made as a member of the design team for Lothian Crafts. The theme for this month's competition is 'for a man'.
I used the 'cheers' flippin men stamp coloured with distress inks and brushmaker pens.
