Paint Fusion meets...

Here's 2 more cards made with the paint fusion technique.

This first card uses the leaves and blossom stamps from the 'Berries' stamp plate, which I stamped onto Neenah card and painted with acrylics. However, I've used Yellow Cosmic Shimmer paint on the centre of the flowers (as I have no yellow acrylic paint yet!)
I then stamped the Crafters Companion 'Candyfloss' flower fairy and the matching corner stamp, both were coloured with ProMarkers. I then made this into an acetate fronted card and added sentiment and peeloffs.

The second card uses the 'Daisy' stamps onto watercolour card and painted with acrylics. I also stamped the statue image from Creative Expressions stamp plate 'Lost Garden' and watercoloured with Brushmarker pens. I then repeatedly stamped and embossed the Ivy stamp from the same collection around the top of the card to finish the 'scene'. Tumbled Glass distress ink was also added around the edge and into the image .

Spring - paint fusion

I've used the blossom stamp and leaves from the berries stamp plate and painted them in acrylics as per the 'paint fusion' technique, with the exception of using yellow and copper stardust pens in the centre of the flowers, as I don't have any Yellow yet! The base of the easel uses some backing paper from Joanna Sheen Jayne Netley Meyhew part 2 cd rom and border form Crafters Companion Mrs Tigglewinkle cd.

Paint Fusion

This is my first attempt at the 'paint fusion' technique. I had a play with the lavender stamp and painting technigue first onto plain white card (card on the right) and was quite pleased with the result, so layed it onto a background made using Creative Expressions embossing folder - bark, onto Whitewash Core'dinations cardstock that I sanded.
I then had a go at making a crackle background and used the lavender stamp and technique again but in pink paint this time (middle card). I also distressed it using Lipstick and Fired Burlup Distress ink and embossed around the edge in silver. I used the core'dinations card again but with a floral Sizzix embossing folder and mounted onto silver card.
Then I moved onto the berries (left card), certainly need more practice with the leaves, but fun to make. I created the background strip using the berry stamps, heat embossed in black and purple embossing powders  and over stamped with the small leaf stamp from the kit. This was then layed onto purple card which I punched a border with Martha Stewart large punch.
